You may be thinking “yeah, you’re just going to tell me about another scam; a new way to flush money down the drain.” While there are more than a few scams out there, Clickbank is not one of them.
To make money with Clickbank, you have two options. You can create (or maybe you already have) a new electronic product for sale. For a $49.95 activation fee, you become a vendor for Clickbank and you can freely promote your products through Clickbank and be in business for yourself.
If you are not one of those creative people, you have the other option, and that is to promote products for Clickbank doing things you are probably already doing: blogging, tweeting on Twitter, updating Facebook or MySpace. If you promote a product, first you become an affiliate, then you post a custom link for people to click on, which tracks your sales, and you get paid per purchase with no upfront investment.
Clickbank allows their vendors to set their own prices and gives their affiliates unbelievable commissions; up to 75% of the purchase price. Is this too good to be true? No, but a few words of caution seem appropriate. If you put a product out there, stand by it, and be sure it works the way it is supposed to or if a book that it teaches what you claim.
If you are promoting Clickbank’s products, be sure to buy it first, make sure it is something you want your name associated with, and then promote it. By just looking at the money you could make, you may be promoting something you do not want associated with you. Making money online is all about credibility, and if you promote inappropriate items, your credibility would be lost.
Now all that time you have wasted by posting your every move for posterity is turned into potential income. That book you know is a best seller is now being sold. No matter which way you chose to work with Clickbank, there is money to be made, and a dream to fulfill.
